Paste di Meliga (Cornmeal Biscuits)
Presenting our yummy, slightly lemony Paste de Meliga: Made from cornmeal, these cookies were born in Italy during a time of financial constraints, when white flour was considered a luxury. Our update on these traditional cookies feature a different nut in their center: pili, cashew, walnut, pecan and almond.
Each bag contains 5 biscuits; based on a Piedmont recipe.
All natural ingredients: Corn flour, butter (dairy), sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, wheat flour, salt and lemon peel. Various nuts and seeds.
